Father's Day
Bring your power tools, golf clubs, hammocks, and grills and come celebrate your father the way he would want it.... asleep in a hammock infront of a golf game with the grill going in the background.
I mean HASHING...running and drinking beer! We are hashing Sunday. It will be at Thatcher Woods. Bring food to share and probably dry shoes and a change of clothes.
Directions: From the north suburbs, take 294 to Irving Park Rd East and go to Cumberland. Turn Right (south) and go to North Ave. Turn Left and go to the light just after the river. This is Thatcher. Turn left and enter the first forest preserve entrance on the left. From the south suburbs, take 294 to North Ave and go east to Thatcher. Turn left and enter the first forest preserve entrance on the left. From the city you can take North Ave all the way out there. Or follow the Metra instructions.
Metra directions:
Take the MD-W to the River Grove stop. Walk about 1.5 miles south on Thatcher to the forest preserve entrance. The closest train leaves at 12:30 and gets there at 12:54
